Sofa Table - Console Table Grover Soft Shoes Antique Sign

My husband designed and constructed this table from an antique wooden sign from Grover Shoes. 

The frame and legs of the table are made from reclaimed/salvaged wood,  and finished with a beautifully rustic, distressed-antique painted finish. The frame and legs were then hand-waxed for the finishing touch. 

Grover Shoes existed in the early 1900's, and their name and slogan "Grover Soft Shoes For Tender Feet" is still visible on the sign.  

A copy of their early design/ad is on the lower shelf. 

This unique, one-of-a-kind table would make a great conversation piece as either a sofa table, console, or entryway table.
