Vintage Wood and Metal Dome Top Trunk

The trunk has its original black paint. We cleaned it, then applied two coats of wax.

The wood straps were cleaned, lightly sanded and stained. Two coats of matte finish polyurethane provide protection. 

We then added antique-style world maps to the interior of the trunk lid and sides and back panel, protecting them with three coats of matte polyurethane.   

Bottom and inside panel are stained and show the beautiful aged look of the trunk.

This trunk will make a great decorative piece in any room, and can be used for storage as well.
