Rustic Dart Board Cabinet
This is a rustic dartboard cabinet designed and made by my husband.
He create it from reclaimed pallet wood. The planks were sanded, but enough of the rustic texture remains to give it a cool, vintage look.
The handles are made from vintage valve knobs.
Stenciled on the front are the names of popular dart games: Cricket & 301
Inside on the left door are two dart holders made from pipe brackets.
The right side holds a chalk scoreboard.
The doors are held closed by magnets embedded in the frame.
The area behind the dartboard is covered with cork to protect the cabinet from missed shots.
Tha cabinet can hold an old school dartboard or an electronic one.
It is finished in a gray, weathered-look stain, plus two coats of matte polyurethane for protection.
Decorative vintage metal strips are screwed along top and bottom of the doors.
This would make a perfect Christmas gift and would be a cool addition to any man cave.
