Barn Wood Farm Table

This dining table was created from old, reclaimed barn wood. A lot of sweaty manual labor went into its construction, leaving my husband, ironically, too tired and worn out to pull a chair up to it and enjoy a nice meal. He should recover by Thanksgiving. :-)

See the step-by-step process below:

The reclaimed barn wood, in all its weathered beauty. Also pictured above is a farm chain that he used to decorate the corners.
The legs were fashioned from old saw horses.  More impressive however, is the Pittsburgh Steelers helmet/snack bowl in the background. Super Bowl, baby.

Legs and support braces to connect them to the table top bottom...  or bottom of top, or... whatever.

Finito!

No horses were sawed in the making of this table.  :-)

Room to play footsie under table.

Pull up a chair!

I hear the dinner bell!

Dinner is served. Bon appetit!
