Vintage Telephone Table

We found this telephone table in some of our trips to the Habitat for Humanity Store and we thought it has a great potential.

With my husband help and advice, I decided to refinish and give new life to the table.

I began by sanding down through the topcoat of polyurethane and stain.

I then applied gold paint to the thin, decorative grooves that accent the edges of the table and legs, and finished with a coat of English Chestnut stain.

And finally two coats of satin polyurethane for protection. 

This is a beautiful vintage telephone table now.
