Ornate Vintage Frame. Antique White Frame

This is a beautiful vintage frame we found in one of our trip to a Flea Market.

Made of wood and molded acrylic gesso the frame needed a good care to show its beautiful details. 

The back

I started the process of cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting, both, the front and the back.

I lightly distressed it.

And several coats of dark wax was applied for protection.

The back has a wire for hanging.
