Rustic Dart Board Cabinet With Old-School Dart Board

My husband designed and built this rustic dart board cabinet using reclaimed pallet wood.

On the inside right door is a chalk board for scoring. Behind the dartboard is a cork backing to protect the cabinet and catch errant shots.

The dart board is both vintage and unused. The blue is faded somewhat from age and adds to the old-school feel.

The wood is stained a beautiful "Early American", and was sanded only lightly to remove splinters. It retains the rough, weathered look, including the old saw blade markings.

For the door pulls on the front of the cabinet, he used vintage iron hardware we picked up on a trip to Ecuador. Lastly, the cabinet was given two coats of satin finish polyurethane for protection.

Dart holders were fashioned from pine wood and decorated with a simple design using a wood burning engraver.

This dart board cabinet would be a cool addition to any man cave, game room or den.
