Hairpin Legs Coffee Table

My husband created this coffee table from reclaimed pallet wood and steel hairpin legs. 

The pallet boards were cut, sanded, stained, and a few were painted. The painted boards were then distressed to give the table a vintage look.

A wood frame was then attached, before three coats of satin polyurethane were added to protect the finish without making it too glossy. The finish has a nice light sheen.

Finally, steel hairpin legs were added.

This rustic coffee table is unique, and will make a beautiful addition to your living room, den, or office.
