Vintage Door Coffee Table

My husband and I made this beautiful coffee table from a salvaged vintage door.

The original paint was scraped, hand-sanded, then we hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in Provence color.

It was lightly distressed, and finished with several coats of dark furniture wax. 

  

The legs were fashioned from reclaimed vintage staircase balusters.

The original old-style knobs and lock (still works!) have been left in place and help to retain the cool, vintage look of the original door.
