Vintage Secretary Desk Queen Anne Style

This is a beautiful vintage secretary desk we just finished restoring.

This is an original solid wood Link Taylor, Pilgrim Pine 36" Queen Anne style secretary desk. 

It has a drop front panel, a full length drawer and three lower drawers, inside a divided section with two small drawers. 

The desk was restored, hand sanded.

        

We painted the desk in a custom-mix chalk paint color. 

'Touch of pink/blush' color for the entire piece and 'rose quartz' color for the drawers.

The inside has been painted and waxed also.

The desk was lightly distressed and several coat of dark wax were applied for protection. 

The original hardware was polished and reused to preserve the original look.  

This desk has some gears that move the supports when the front panel is open.
