Vintage secretary desk, original Link Taylor, Pilgrim Pine 36" Queen Anne Style.

This is a beautiful solid wood vintage secretary desk, drop front panel, a full length drawer and three lower drawers, inside a divided section with two small drawers. 

The desk was refinished, hand sanded, and then hand painted in an off-white color using chalk paint. 

We created a raised stencil design over the entire piece, to add a little interest and dimension to the desk. 

The original hardware was polished and reused to preserve the original look.

This desk has some gears that move the supports out when the front panel is open. 

The inside has been painted also.

Finally we waxed the entire piece with clear wax and added dark wax over the raised stencil to enhance and bring attention to the design.
