Crate Book Case. Rustic Book Case. Two Toned Crate Book Case.

This is a rustic book case made from farm feed crates that my husband made.

Three crates were cleaned, then lightly sanded to retain some of their rustic look and feel. 

The crates were mounted to a thick bottom plank. Four inch legs were attached.

Each crate was assembled by securing each of the crates together, then adding two rails to the back for strength and support.

The piece was stained Honey and Ipswich Pine, then sealed with two coats of matte finish polyurethane for protection.

This book case is light weight and sturdy.

It can be used for anything though, plants, books, DVD's, etc.
