Sofa Table Distressed Finish

My husband designed and constructed this table from reclaimed pallet wood.

The table was sanded smooth, but the character and texture of the wood can still be seen through the finish.

I then gave the table an antique white, distressed finish and added some decorative iron hardware to the front to complete the vintage look. Finally, I applied a protective coat of wax and buffed the surface smooth.
