Pine Wood Console Table

My husband created this console/sofa table from reclaimed pine wood for the top. The legs are made from reclaimed pallet wood.

We added some decorative hardware to the table to complete the vintage look. 

The legs were painted in a soft yellow color and lightly distressed.

The table top was sanded and then finished with a coat of ipswich pine stain, and two coats of matte finish, water-based polyurethane, to protect and seal the top without giving it a glossy finish.

Finally, several coats of furniture wax were applied to the whole piece for complete protection.
